The Inclusive Democracy Project

Dēmos’ Inclusive Democracy Project (IDP) works with grassroots organizations around the country to advance policy change that centers racial equity and creates a more inclusive and effective American democracy.

The IDP was launched in 2015 to support state-based racial and gender justice organizations playing leadership roles in democracy reform efforts across the country.

By connecting our IDP partners with one another and providing them with technical assistance, financial resources, and practical support for their strategies, we make a dynamic intervention in the democracy reform movement, which for too long has reflected the priorities of its traditionally white, male leadership.
