Public Works' Kym King hosts First Tuesdays

On First Tuesdays, we examine the distinction between government and politics; explore the essential role of government in our everyday lives; and challenge people to think about government and politics in a fresh way.

First Tuesdays is an education and community outreach activity of Public Works: The Demos Center for the Public Sector and is produced in association with Pacifica Radio Houston. The title gets its name from the fact that as American citizens we vote on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. It is broadcast on the first Tuesday of every month at 9:30AM CST. It can be heard live on KPFT Radio 90.1 FM in Houston, streamed live at www.kpft.org or downloaded from the list below following the production of the show.

The 2009 Season of First Tuesdays is dedicated to The Power of Citizenship.
