"REALIZING DEMOCRACYS PROMISE" WILL BE HELD AT ST. BARTS CAFÉ, NYC, MAY 15, 2008
New York, NY--Demos: A Network for Ideas & Action, a national public policy center, is celebrating its eight-year anniversary by honoring two leading figures in the progressive world: former North Carolina Senator John Edwards, and Susan Berresford, former President of the Ford Foundation. The event, entitled "Realizing Democracy's Promise," will be held at the Café at St. Bart's in New York City on May 15, 2008. Program includes a Political Art Auction, curated and featuring work by The New Yorker's cartoonist Roz Chast.
